Currently the company owns 3 fishing vessels which fish sprat, herring and cod in the waters of the Baltic Sea by means of bottom and pelagic trawling. Fishing with these vessels does not depend on seasonal changes, and they are some of the few vessels in Latvia equipped with fish pumps; this equipment allows loading fish quickly into the containers for transportation, maintaining the high quality of products.
Due to the capacity and tonnage of the fishing vessel engines, “BraDava” Ltd is able to exhaust the catch quotas that comprise 20% of the overall catch limits in Latvia within one year, despite the seasonal character of fishery.
